God I love this green set I put together for Shelly. She looks like a good old fashioned, rough and tough explorer. There’s nothing wrong with her eye btw. She’s just going through a pirate phase.
Look at this spooky bug she found.
Well of course you aim from the patched eye. Ancient gnome technique. I wouldn’t expect you to understand
My favorite part of this latest Warbringers short is all the fuckbois in the Azshara tag having a temper tantrum over a woman gaining the upper hand in negotiations with an old god.
For real, these babies are screaming about this and how N’zoth is just manipulating Azshara, and I’m laughing, because – and this is important – they act like she doesn’t realize N’zoth’s trying to manipulate her.
For real, this woman has been a queen in a royal court for >1000 years, manipulating her followers with her beauty, and do you think, in the 10k years since, the possibility that this ancient eldritch big-mouth bass is trying to manipulate her didn’t cross her mind?
We’ve heard the story these man-babies are insisting is the truth a thousand fucking times. Some dumb fucker listens to the whispers of the old gods, gets corrupted, and becomes their pawn. THIS IS A DIFFERENT STORY.
Unlike Neltharion/Deathwing, AZSHARA hasn’t been listening to N’zoth’s mixtape for millenia. She was dying, and he had about 5 fucking mins to make a deal. His big ass toy Dragon had JUST been sealed away. He didn’t have a powerful pawn to hand. So he tries the “if you don’t serve me you’ll die!”
What does Azshara do? She pulls a fucking Theodora, “Purple is the noblest shroud.” She makes it clear that she would rather DIE a Queen than live as a slave.
And N’zoth tests her. He puts her back in the water to drown. They enter Azeroth’s most lopsided game of chicken, where N’zoth is hoping she’ll crack before she dies, and Azshara is betting he’ll save her and her people rather than wait how many thousand years for another blindingly powerful person to come within reach.
And Azshara wins, because she has CONVICTION. And N’zoth and Azshara’s desires are aligned – he wants to corrupt Azeroth, and Azshara wants to rule the world. They can BOTH have what they want, and are more likely to get it together than apart. It’s that “win-win” people are always harping on in business negotiations.
But neither of them are stupid. Of course, N’zoth is going to try to manipulate her. Of course, Azshara’s going to lose N’zoth’s phone number as soon as she rules the world. It’s a balancing act.
These man-babies are just having a tantrum because they can’t STAND to see a woman succeed where their 2edgy4me Male faves failed.
