Can we please be the generation that stops putting up with the family child molester? The grown uncle who dates teenage girls, the husband who makes uncomfortable comments about young women’s clothing, or the cousin who raises red flags with their behavior towards children but no one wants to talk about all need to go. Children, especially young women, are expected to “keep the family together” by not making a fuss over incredibly traumatic behavior. Children don’t deserve to suffer trauma for adults’ feelings of togetherness. They’re more worthy of protection than predators. A healthy family is not built on the backs of abuse survivors expected to live their lives in silence without justice, support, or protection.

if youve never physically been in the presence of like, a real live wolf, and you probably wont get the chance to, heres some stuff about them you should know

  • a wolf’s fur is so unbelievably thick that you can get like, your whole hand into it while petting. and then you can keep going
  • wolves are a lot bigger than you think they are. think about how big you think a wolf is then just like double that
  • they dont really smell like dog but they DO smell and youre not going to be able to figure out if its a good smell or not
  • a wolf really wants to lick the inside of your mouth. he will not stop trying to lick the inside of your mouth at any cost, and generally speaking you need to press your lips together kind of tightly when he approaches your face so that he doesnt worm his damn tongue in there to give you what he thinks is an appropriate greeting
  • a wolf doesnt really want to look at you while you pet him but he wants you to pet him. hes embarrassed
  • if a grown ass wolf decides to lay down on you, you just have to deal with it and thats your life now
  • young wolves, much like young dogs, are overwhelmingly goofy and stupid. a teenage wolf will see your very fragile, very human shoulder and go “i can probably step on that with my full weight” and then he will do it
  • letting a wolf eat out of your hand is actually not remotely frightening, and youll want to do it all day

I wanna know who did this research.

well, i did!

Lor’Themar Theron: The Traitor Regent

leynarriamistfire:

Pamphlets bearing this message can be found in Quel’thalas, with a few even having made their way to Silvermoon. Note that the contents reflect the opinions of my character, Leynarria Mistfire, and not necessarily the player.

Treason. The highest crime one can commit against kin and home. But what is treason? Is it the betrayal of your nation, or is it something deeper than that? Is it possible for an entire nation to commit treason, and the lone patriots to be declared traitors?

To understand what has happened to our beloved nation and why it has fallen to such dark depths, one has to look at the very source of treason: our so-called ‘ruler’, Lor’themar Theron. Appointed as regent by Prince Kael’thas before his descent into madness, it was the duty of Lor’themar to safeguard us into a new world whilst preserving our traditions and what it meant to be an elf. A task that Theron has failed in at every turn.

To understand my relationship with Lor’themar, one has to go back to the Second War. I served under him during the Siege of Silvermoon, when the trolls closed in on all sides and nearly wiped our people off the face of Azeroth. He fought honorably, and was a good leader for the Farstriders. To see him have fallen so far pains me.

Rather than protecting Quel’thalas, he sold us out to the very enemies that nearly destroyed us but two decades ago; the Horde. Are our memories so short that we have forgotten when Quel’thalas burned? When our mothers and fathers were slain by vile orcs and trolls? What would our ancestors think would they be able to see us now, consorting with the very creatures that once sought our destruction?

Lor’themar has allowed himself to be cowed by the Banshee Queen. The… creature… masquerading in the corpse of Sylvanas Windrunner that now claims to lead the so-called ‘noble’ Horde. He is little more than a puppet, and he dare not defy her – lest she burn Silvermoon as she burned Teldrassil. Make no mistake; were the elves to try and assert their independence, Sylvanas would rain fury upon us to a degree not seen since the Scourge.

There is hope for better leadership. Two decades ago, when the Horde ravaged our homelands, we helped forge the First Alliance. We shepherded the lesser races – the humans, the dwarves, the gnomes – into achieving total victory over the Horde. We made the mistake of withdrawing from the Alliance the moment the war was over, but the shorter lived races still required our guidance.

There is one who would bring us back from the brink, and restore Quel’thalas to its former glory; a resplendent phoenix, reborn from the shadows of the Twisting Nether itself.

Alleria Windrunner has returned, and with her a new hope for Quel’thalas has arrived.

Prepare yourselves, children of the sun. Sylvanas and all of her cronies will be held accountable once Alleria leads us to victory. Choose which side you are on, for you will be judged accordingly.
