straight up, this shows just how much they’ve, not only bonded, but how amethyst is LEARNING Peridot’s quirks and patterns and like her abrasiveness and stuff. I mean, Amethyst prior to Peri’s apology would have taken offense to this for so many reasons but like, she’s learning that Peridot doesn’t often actually mean anything bad by it, but that she’s often just hiding/deflecting what’s really bothering her.
this fucking show teaches people to be patient and understand and I just love it so so so so much
